The Star has run a piece about Lost Garden playing at Record Collector, sadly, due to space restraints, it’s likely to be Nick on his own. More details to follow.
We have at last got a confirmed shipping date for the LOST GARDEN CD, and expect to get our stock during the week commencing April 20th. Apologies for the time-lag. Our aim is to get pre-order copies out that week all being well. In case you missed it, pre-order stock will be signed by the two band members. Read more about the CD here.
Clearing out our German warehouse a while ago, amongst the stock which came back were a few copies of our earlier English Electric releases. These can be ordered only via our online shop while they last. They are mint copies, never played.
The first two titles of our relaunch can now be pre-ordered. CHICKENLEGS WEAVER is due to ship at the end of February. LOST GARDEN’S debut CD will ship in March. Both titles are packaged in exclusive art six panel digipak covers for a limited time. They are also priced at a discount for a while. As an added bonus, ALL orders for LOST GARDEN will be signed by the two musicians for a limited period. You can pre-order the CDs from our approved mail order outlet now. In store release dates will be announced shortly.
T-shirts for the artists will also be available soon, available to wear in the North East now or the rest of the UK in the summer!
Here’s a video to go with one of the tracks from “Sometime Man”, Andy’s farewell album on English Electric. The video was made by Lois Davis and Chris Mason

When our products are ready, English Electric will sell CDs through an approved retailer, Easy On The Eye. You can visit the shop here.
The tracks have been mastered, we have identified the pressing plant for producing the CDs and the artwork is almost finalised. We’re aiming for a release date of early January for both titles, with a launch party for each title 😉
Following some intense trawling through people’s attics, a selection of master tapes from Dig Vis Drill recording sessions in the 80s have turned up. We’re looking at getting these digitised with a view to release, once we can lay our hands on a 15ips reel to reel machine 😉
